Spend cozy evenings reading beside the fire in our spacious living area - or listening to the sounds of nature on the front porch of our beautiful and rustic log cabin. Some of New York's best trout fishing is just down the hill on the creek - which feeds into the Esopus River a mile away. And another mile up the road are some of New York State's best hiking and camping trails.
The sweet town of Phoenicia is a real town, with a grocery store, post office, a few shops and restaurants, and the best breakfast place in the world, Sweet Sue's. Cross country ski for free at nearby Wilson State Park - or visit groomed trails at Belleayre or Tannersville.
Our cabin is simply but beautifully decorated - not your typical rental situation. If you are looking for luxury, snowmobiling, and fast living, this is not the rental for you; ours is a rustic log cabin, not a suburban home. This is a good place for nature lovers who aren't afraid of a compost pile and a long dirt driveway!
We provide sheets but not towels.
WE ONLY RENT TO ONE OR TWO COUPLES OR TO ONE FAMILY WITH KIDS; NO MORE THAN 2-4 ADULTS. NO LARGE GROUPS OR PARTIES OR FAMILIES. (Our country pipes can't take large groups anyway.) We love dogs and cats as long as they don't scratch the furniture. No smoking inside.

Preference to week-long rentals; no weekend rentals more than 3-4 wks in advance.
No more than 4 adults - extra kids after four people is $10/night/person.
A $300 Deposit will be refunded provided there is no damage to the Cabin.
Your rental of the Cabin is confirmed when rental & deposit checks
have been cleared & agreement has been signed.
